Next Steps

There’s a whole lot more...

Edit your publication settings

A few configurations are available for modifying your WebEdition. Fix that typo in your publication name, and select the method of serialization that matches your publishing cycle. Upload a logo and select a brand color to reinforce your brand. Complete your list of departments.

Import subscribers

Do you have a great list of subscribers? Eager to make certain they see your new issues when they go online? Import your subscribers’ names and email addresses using WebEdition’s subscriber importer. (Hint: you'll need to export it to a CSV or tab-delimited format.)

Configure a custom domain

Good news! You can configure a vanity domain for your WebEdition. You’ll need to configure a subname (like magazine.example.com or www.example.com) as a CNAME. If that sounds over-your-head, talk to your nephew who builds websites (or your IT department).

Publish and announce your issue

Your stories are ready, your subscribers are imported and everything else is buttoned up. What next? Publish your issue!

Once you do, you’ll find a notification on that issue’s page encouraging you to announce it to your subscribers. Click through the notification setup process, and we’ll take it from there.
